Difficult life, hers, made up of hardships.
But with strength and determination, Lina managed to create a space that speaks of authentic values and conviviality.

A space where anyone feels welcome.
A space where, if you are alone, you will always find someone waiting for you.
"La Cantina di Donna Lina” concept born in the back room of a seamstress, where Lina worked to help her family.

The owner of the shop, her husband, of Italian origin as well, considered Lina as a daughter.

During the long summer evenings, they used to organize small refreshment with friends, relatives or acquaintances.
In those occasions he was pleased to have her among their guests .

Thus the idea.

Creating a place where people could feel at home. Sharing their most important resource: the time!

"La Cantina di Donna Lina" is an Italian winery.
The wine labels that are proposed are belonging to native wines.

The same that remind Lina the childhood she didn't live.

A childhood of so many years away that she can no longer remember its essence.
On the walls of the cellar, some pictures of Lina and her brothers growing up.
Every month is dedicated to a special wine.
Linked to a specific territory and its traditions.

This is the month of the Pelaverga wine.
To accompany wines, salami and cheese plates are served.

And one single hot dish, house specialty, prepared with care and attention: the Porchetta.

The recipe for this very special product from Central Italy has been handed down from generation to generation in Lina's family.

Today it delights the palates of locals and tourists who, being in Buenos Aires, make obligatory stop in this highly-recommended place.

Few rustic wooden tables.
Simple and warm lines.

Fix offer, menu based. Like in the good taverns.

The wine, served in stuffed bottles and quarters, the unit of measure of the wine shops of the past, as a glass.

Traditional melodic Italian music in light background and a lots of laughs.

When it's time to pay the bill, the customer receives a detailed link of the order on the phone and, once the order has been confirmed, proceeds to the electronic payment... in just a couple of clicks!

The waiter leaves each guest a card, gift of the house.

The greetings card belongs to a series of photographic reproductions of draft associated to the Italian winemaking tradition of the past and its history.
