Client: Hydrotour
Project: promotional illustrated maps of key travel destinations.
To promote its top travel destinations, Slovak travel agency Hydrotour commissioned me to create a series of illustrated maps that highlight the cultural landmarks and attractions of diverse locations, such as Senegal, Cape Verde, and Oman.
In the case of the map for Senegal, posted here, after receiving the briefing and the key landmarks Hydrotour wanted to highlight, I checked they were all located on the west part of the country, near the coast. So, I decided to center the map view on this area to make all the elements less crowded and more legible, instead of illustrating the whole map of Senegal.
Each map was printed in a A5 postcard and distributed to their clients.
