There are many creative and original forms of expression generated by Rebellion or by Redemption that left on the asphalt constellations of signs... Asphalt, the element that connects many cities all over the world (not only ideally), is a widespread material and apparently always identic to itself; it's the surface of our time that coats the metropolis and defines the urban atmospheres restoring a vision in motion of our history that is still flowing on it.
Either because of Rage or because of Passion, when the inspiration comes from the asphalt the images tell a story piece by piece. That's why the term “Street” is often placed before the concepts of “Art”, “Style” and “Fashion”; the fashion is inspired by the streetwear trends. The street moves people's stories and bears traces of the flowing crowd; that's the set of the performance and of the expression that is able to “invent the everyday” through the culture that comes from the underground and that is always free to create new meanings and trends.
Asphalt Academy Apparel is born from and with this concept; the creative drive of the street produces clothes and accessories for men and women, because the asphalt belongs to anyone who wants to walk on it. The range of metropolitan gray, the rain and the mud become rubber, tracing the treads of the tires while the geometric patterns, either offset or tone on tone, shape printed or embroidered tattoos. Graphic research and attention to details create a seasonless whole, beacuse in the era of global warming and of globalization we have to be able to wear any cloth anytime.
