Project Overview and Scope

Using the supplied text, we will be designing a poster for a series of events. We would refine the text, and build a logical visual typographic hierarchy system to aid in the quick consumption of information. We would then create and utilize a grid structure to organize, to explore variation and/or dynamic movement.

We went to San Francisco Botanical Garden to take pictures, sketch, use any art material to gather sketches from what we saw at the park that we thought would improve the poster

In class, we had then chosen which would best fit, towards the idea, we were going for. Creating a collage, using the items, to place them in the areas that it would look best.

For the Golden Gate Park Events, I was thinking of a script like idea, for a playfulness aside from all the informative text. I also had an idea to cut in the middle of all the letters horizontally to bring character to it. As I was reviewing my iterations of the title I favorited the combination of letters that make up the words(far right image). It felt less wordy and cluttered with the rest of the text provided to us.
