Design for the drone show at the opening ceremony of the TOKYO 2020 Olympic game. The program of "emblem(2D) → sphere(3D) → earth(3D)" was decided, and the theme was to create a non-existent geometric form of 120 faces sphere from the characteristics of the emblem. Using the geodesic dome development method and 3D CAD, each surface of the rhombic triocahedron was divided into four to develop a 120 faces sphere, and a generate checkered pattern was to design the motion of 1824 drones.

TOKYO 2020 オリンピック開会式のドローンショーの演出デザインである。「エンブレム→球体→地球」と動くこと自体は決まっており、エンブレムの特性から120面体という、まだ記述されていない幾何学形態を作り出すことがポイントとなった。ジオデシックドームの開発手法と3D CADを活用し、菱形30面体から120面体を開発し、市松紋様化させることで1824台のドローン演出を創り上げた。
