TOLERANCE? TOLERANCIJA?
Tolerance. 9 letters, one word.
What should we be more tolerant of?
Is it possible to be tolerant of violence? of murder? of nazism?
And if we are talking about things that a person does not choose? Should I be ashamed of my nationality? of my skin color? of my emotions?
These were questions we asked ourselves during the project "Students for Tolerance". More than 30 people was creating some tolerance posters to choose our lives and worldview.
My artwork is about tolerance to nationalities. I didn't choose where I was born, I didn't choose my citizenship, and I didn't choose which language to speak.
If I am Russian it doesn’t mean that I support the war.
If I am Afghan it doesn’t mean that I am a terrorist.
We all are people and it isn’t depend on our nationalities. We don’t live in nazi Germany, where you could be a good or bad person based only on your citizenship!
