This collection determined by Ambivalence, represents a concept with a feeling of indecision, division and confusion that sends a subject to the division of his preferences for concentration on a single option.
Although indecision is something experienced by everyone, it can be conflicting for others, disrupting everyday life with only simple and mundane choices, elevating identity to something more personal.
This type of situation creates a state of discomfort, which can lead to evasion, due to contradictory feelings and thoughts, which occur by the two opposing impulses felt simultaneously. This results from the thought that the future choice made, when it is not possible to go back, affects the remaining course of life, negatively, determining regret as an enemy in the future.
The ambivalence concept developed for a women's collection for spring summer 2023 is represented by an organic, distributed, elastic and asymmetrical aesthetic. The coordinates present an order of growth from the first to the fourth through the colors and pieces.
It is possible to perceive an evolution through the colors starting with a monochromatic coordinate and ending with the use of all the colors in a single piece, representing the growing development of the subject's indecision at the moment of a choice.
In addition, it is possible to remedy this situation by using fabrics with elastane and knits, which, in order from coordinate to coordinate, show a state of imprisonment. Starting with broader openings in the first coordinate and ending with more organic and closed openings in the last one, as if indecision consumed the subject as a whole.
The collection aims to demonstrate a main focus on shapes and materials, conveying a sense of transparency in relation to what is really felt in a moment of confusion by an indecisive person who struggles with his thoughts.
