TYPICAL 36 days of war
Every year from April 10 to May 15, designers from all over the world draw letters and numbers of the Latin alphabet, inspiring each other and taking an eye to typography design. One day – one symbol. This is #36daysoftype typography design challenge. I also decided to join the challenge, but with the additional goal of bringing more attention to the war in Ukraine.
My challenge grew up into project TYPICAL 36 DAYS OF WAR – an alphabet of strength, where every letter and number reflects current Ukrainian reality. 36 days in Ukraine out of 446 days of full-scale invasion and 9 years of war with russia. I found key words that reveal actual Ukrainian context.

With numbers it was more difficult. I wanted to show the numbers through statistics, but unfortunately, it is constantly changing at war. Therefore war was reflected in numbers as visuals with meaning.
The project is aimed to bring attention of foreign creatives to the war in Ukraine. Because creativity has a powerful potential that needs to be converted into help, donations and media coverage.
