Filipino environmental groups under Kalikasan People's Network for the Environment held a series of actions leading up to and on the day of Earth Day 2023, 22 April, to highlight various environmental issues affecting the country. The phrase Laban Kalikasan! translates to "nature, we fight!" in English.

As part of environmental protest art collective KALKAL (and as part of Kalikasan), I took the liberty of illustrating and designing some of the posters and social media material used for the campaign.

Aside from the main Earth Day 2023 event, a lead-up event entitled GREENS AGAINST THE WAR MACHINE! which highlighted the issue of militarization and its impacts on the environment was held on the Thursday prior, on 20 April.
