Mathematics events posters - 2

Series of posters designed for the Center for Mathematical Modeling (CMM) at the University of Chile.

Graphic design
Poster (detail) for a Dynamical Systems and Computation school held at the Center for Mathematical Modeling, covering topics like multidimensional symbolic systems and tilings. The poster shows prominently Penrose an Robinson aperiodic tilings.
Poster (detail) for a mathematical "school" on Information and Randomness, held at the southern chilean city of Puerto Varas. The poster features a landscape of the city surroundings, with Osorno volcano and Llanquihue lake. The volcano's ash cloud is made up from mathematical formulae taken from Servet Martínez papers, a mathematician that was honored at the event.
The ICSP2016 poster features a view of the Brazilian town of Búzios where it was held, depicted as an array of colored circles –created with a script from pixel color values, but randomly shifted (to give it a certain 'stochastic' feel)–.
Poster for a mathematical congress held at the southern chilean city of Punta Arenas (the southernmost regional capital in Chile). This is why it features an image of the Torres del Paine mountains, a very iconic view of the chilean Patagonia, as symbol of this region "at the End of the World."
The figure enclosed on a great circle represent an example of symbolic dynamical systems, featured in a way that resembles a 'kultrun' (a kind of ceremonial drum used by the chilean 'mapuche' indigenous people).
