Abstract Typographic Compositions: Sans-Serif vs. Serif.
BRIEF INTRODUCTION OT THE PROJECT.
First of all, we had to draw in a few minutes our first ideas as a brainstorm. These 24 sketches helped us with the digitizing process.
Also, to help with creating a better sketch letter and understand the difference between san serif and serif fonts, we drew the letter "g".

Then, we used Illustrator to digitalize three sketches of each one: 3 Sans Serif and 3 from Serif. We used colors black and white, with at least two glyphs of each color. Also, we used five to eight unique alphanumeric glyphs in each composition but no punctuation. We displayed at least five elements of typographic anatomy. For this set, I selected stem, counter space, arm, loop, bowl, ascender, and descender.
We chose one sketch of each category and realized 12 new sketches, but in this case with small variations.
It was important to avoid any pictorial arrangements because we had to keep everything purely abstract.
