Ceramic Futures 1.0 Research/Ideation Collages

"New Nature" was selected topic for which a vast research was performed. As posting long texts was obviously inefficient for online platform performance, graphic representation of the main concepts were created to catch audience's attention and explain ideas better.

Initial research was dedicated to changes that humanity brought to the environment.

Further in the process concept of anthropocene was explored and the idea of nature was broaden to include humans as well as their artefacts (ceramics is a part of nature).

Eventually research led to the widest notion of ecology that includes intangible world of human culture as well. Thoughts and ideas have to be preserved from getting extinct as any other species. Ceramics always had this capability transfering knowledge of previous generations in shards better than any other material artefacts do.

Climate change, ceramic recycling process problems, need to preserve values stored in ceramic artefacts and personal experience at coral beach came together to define the concept - Ceramic Beach.

Beach manufacturing process is as important as the experience that people get enjoying it.

Artificially made beach creates new possibilities surpassing those of random nature. New beaches can be produced for any client's requirements: colour, sound, touch.

The real sense behind the process is in accelerating entropy though.
