Project: Brand Exploration, Mascot & Logo Design

Fredericksburg Ferrets is a brand concept for a DIII college baseball team based out of Fredericksburg, Texas. Known for their determined plays on the field, the Ferrets have built a reputation as a tough opponent for any team they face. Not unlike their namesake, Freddy the Black-Footed Ferret, they're scrappy little devils!
The project brief dictated the creation of a vector-based mascot for a fictional sports team using the name and likeness of an "unusual-for-a-sports-team-mascot" endangered animal. The logo required both the likeness of the chosen animal and the name of the team to be used in combination.
