La antigua arquitectura azteca era una de las más valiosas pues sus mismas construcciones reflejaban sus valores y el progreso de su civilización.
Se dice que la mejor manera de describir la arquitectura azteca es como monumental, pues el propósito era reflejar poder y a su vez transmitir sus fuertes creencias religiosas. Esto es evidente en el diseño de sus templos, palacios y casas. Su fuerte estructura, sistemas de movilización y recursos materiales eran bien organizados con el objetivo de crear construcciones eficientes que cumplieran las necesidades de sus habitantes.
Tenochtitlán, la capital, era la más poderosa de todas pues lograba simbolizar el poder azteca de manera íntegra. Neza se inspira em aquellas plataformas, bajorrelieves y muros que eran utilizados para representar a sus disoes aztecas e ideales. En donde la geometria y las líneas extensas daban una claridad a sus dogmas religiosos y ese gran poder del Estado.
