Concept
The Briar is a advanced drilling machine. The main task of the device is to optimize the processing of the workpiece, making it more convenient and less time-consuming with the help of a built-in rotary table. A distinctive feature of the machine is drilling holes converging at one point.

During the design search, several versions of the machine design were proposed. The leitmotif of the proposed options was the turntable, which was located visually in the center. Further differences related to the location of the engine, levers and style decision of the machine. The final design version solved the inconvenience of standard machines.
В процессе проектного поиска было предложено несколько версий конструкции станка. Лейтмотивом предложенных вариантов был поворотный стол, который располагался визуально в центре. Дальнейшие различия относились к расположению двигателя, рычагов и стилевому решению станка. Окончательный проектный вариант решил проблемы неудобства стандартных станков.
ergonomics
The layout and design of the machine is based on an integrated development approach, which includes ergonomic, functional, coloristic and other requirements. Ergonomics of the device takes into account the anthropometric parameters of the user. When working with the machine, a person does not need to turn around, make great efforts and bend down. Limbs do not take sharp corners. The working area is in the central field of view.
Эргономика устройства учитывает антропометрические параметры пользователя. При работе со станком человеку не нужно поворачиваться, прилагать больших усилий и нагибаться. Конечности не принимают острых углов. Рабочая зона находится в центральном поле зрения.
