I wanted to pay tribute to the legendary Super8 cameras and here's the end result - hope you like it. For the main idea I knew I was going to use the original colour scheme but I also added some colour to be able to create a more bright and colourful design. 

The idea with the different typographic styles, spelling out Super8, came from sketching around to find the right layout. Then came the adding of colours and experimenting with gradients and strokes as well. Some of these I kept because the transparency creates a great effects with the intertwining of the letters. 

Lastly, I added some minor graphic elements to tie everything together. 

I really enjoyed doing this one, so I will definitely be doing more. Stick around for some more Super8 inspired graphic design soon.
