On May 7, 2022, the russian military destroyed the museum named after him with a deliberate shelling. The building suffered irreparable losses 😡💔
The museum is located in the village of Skovorodynivka, Kharkiv region, on the premises of the XVIII. century estate, where Hryhoriy Skovoroda had been working for the last years of his life and where he was buried. As the philosopher commanded, there is no cross at the place of his burial - only a stone with the inscription: "The world was trying to catch me but failed" ❤️
