Bench. 2010
The Bench is a reflection over old park benches with curved cast-iron sides. These benches are still abundant throughout most public parks in Russia, with their massive ornated sides and parallel painted wooden bars seats. The Bench twists these features: here the seat is made of parallel metal bars, supported by a curved plywood structure reminiscent of the old benches’ curves.
