A project i did at university. We had to do a modern redesign of a vinyl.
I decided to chose "Bad" by Michael Jackson.
I chose this artist in particular because Michael Jackson is one of the most important icons of all times and one of the biggest artists of the music industry.He was a great singer, an amazing dancer and he also composed.Everyone knows him by "The king of Pop" and i tried to incorporate that in my redesign.I also used the leather texture, not only because it's a representation of Michael in the "Bad" era but also because it represents the "bad boy" idea of this album, the rebellion and polemic lyrics.Like i just said "polemic" is one of the adjetives most people use to describe this album because there was some songs in it that had a very delicated theme and Michael had the audacity and courage to sing and speak about it.
The red was also conected to that rebellion and polemic but again it was also because it's something that is always going to be coneted to this star that is Michael Jackson.
Finally i added some elements like the crown and the pictures to represent the artist in his best way.
