WAYFINDER STYLE GUIDE AND MOTION TOOLKIT

As the creative director for the Wayfinder project, I was responsible for overseeing the development of the game's style guide and motion toolkit. This involved working closely with the development team at Airship Syndicate and Digital Extremes to ensure that the game's visual style was consistent across all marketing materials, including trailers, social media, and other promotional content.

To achieve this, we collaborated closely with celebrated comic book artist Joe Madureira, who created the game's character artwork and design. By building on the game's strong visual style, we created a modern aesthetic that elevated the marketing package to a new level. This involved developing a consistent color palette, typography, and graphic elements that could be used across all marketing materials, as well as creating a library of motion graphics that could be used to create engaging promotional content.

Overall, our work for Wayfinder helped to ensure that the game had a solid and consistent visual identity that would resonate with players and help to build excitement for its release. By combining our skills in design and marketing with the talents of the development team and Joe, we created a cohesive and visually stunning package that showcased the best of what Wayfinder had to offer.
