The Global Service Jam is an exciting workshop that brings together creatives from diverse communities to collaborate on a secret theme and create something extraordinary. In this particular service jam, the theme was "Build:Re:Build," and participants had six hours to work in teams of five to identify a problem statement, ideate a solution, and create a prototype. The event was a fantastic opportunity for designers of various specializations, including service designers, graphic designers, and content strategists, to come together and recharge their creative energies.
The team's chosen problem statement was "How can we leverage technology for sustainable architectural development?" After brainstorming various ideas, the team came up with an AI-driven application that would assist builders and contractors in assessing their waste materials and selling them to other industries for recycling or up-cycling. The innovative product would not only promote sustainable development but also help companies improve their green footprint. Naqiyah Mustafa, Abdul Aziz, Almas, Dharini Karunakaran, and Rinad collaborated to make the project a success.
