How does it sound if you received a birthday wish from Kailash Kher himself? or Shaan singing a song for your anniversary? Or Kiku Sharda cracking a good joke to make your mood right? Or Usha Uthup singing a song to wish you over an achievement?

Well, that is what GoNuts is about- they enable video messages from celebrities. And we joined hands with them, as their marketing and communication team. 

Our job was to make India understand the product and engage them with our communication on social media. 

How did we do that?

1. Community Building:
Fandom is real. It is definitely a thing in India. People get inked, stand outside homes of celebrities and so much more. The idea was to build a community of fans of 3000+ stars that were on the platform. For this, we created different social media properties:

2. UGC:
User generated content in form of user reactions was used to make this real and show people what was happening, what was coming their way for the first time ever. 

3. Contests: 
We engaged our audiences through different celebrity based contests, made them a part of this vibrant brand GoNuts, that was evolving every day. 

Following are some of the creations done to fulfill the purpose:

One of the big ideas that drove Community Building aspect was by having a STAR OF THE WEEK, every week and giving the fans a lot of inside information on and about that star. 

The next best thing was to tell our audience, who else we had as a part of GoNuts team, the celebrities they had access too across different industries: Sports, regions, genres, etc.

A Campaign to connect and appeal to Punjabi community, to enable them to meet their favourite stars. 
A campaign to connect with the Maharashtrian audience and help them meet their favourite stars via GoNuts. 
A series done to connect with family members, spouses of cricket lovers. This was to encourage them to get a personalised video message made for their loved ones, from their favourite cricket stars, during the IPL season. 
Bidoo Bhai was a character who brought out the best bolly updates. Ultimately the idea was to make Bidoo Bhai a cool celebrity himself too, who would do personalised video messages as well. 
Colourful and absolutely vibrant set of ads made to appeal to parents,to get video messages made for their little ones (birthday invites, wish messages, etc.)
Kamala: a really cool transgender news anchor who got all the news covered and captured in her special way and speech. 
Meme marketing to bring out the proposition of GoNuts in a hyperbolic manner

A campaign encouraging people to GoNuts in expressing love to their mothers. 
There is an absolute fandom for impressionists too: sometimes due to inaccessibility of the biggest stars and sometimes due to the comedy or fun of it. Hollywood impressionists were promoted beautifully in this campaign format. 
A literal Trump Card, 
Showcasing used cases using reaction videos. 
A campaign targeting romantic partners, showcasing relevant celebrities with a very relatable caption.

While we did something big and special for every important occasions, here's two such festivals we pushed the boundaries the most:
1. CHRISTMAS
2. VALENTINE'S DAY

Enticing the parent audience to get Santa Claus record a personalised video message as a gift got their child, for Christmas. 


We had to get people involved. And why not...they were all set and ready for it.

The Hope Project was an initiative done during Covid. Here the idea was bring cheer and encouragement in the lives of people.
