Levin Sword
"Time to tip the scales!" The Levin Sword is the iconic weapon of Robin (the player character) from Fire Emblem: Awakening. Awakening is one of my favorite games and I couldn't wait to get started on this project. I have always wanted to have something from the game and since my Robin always used a Levin Sword, I decided to go ahead with it and make it light up with the different spells too! Figuring out how I was going to orient and build the blade was a challenge. Eventually I decided on mounting the blade on a board and allowing the NeoPixels to shine through so I can mount it on my wall. I 3D printed all the pieces using a model by @Thatloudirishguy on Thingiverse, but added my own spin on some of the pieces to allow the light to shine through better. I have 6 states for the lights; Off, Lightning, Fire, Wind, Dark and Rainbow. The first 5 correspond to the normal state of the sword and to the 4 spell types in game. The Rainbow is just for a bit of fun, and who doesn't love that!
