Illustration for Rasul Gamzatov's poem Cranes.
The year 2023 marks the centenary of Rasul Gamzatov's birth. The illustration was created as part of the project "My Dagestan. Our Rasul". I chose Cranes, a poem I've known since childhood, which to me is an expression of my inner pain, every time I read it it brings tears to my eyes.
