GAZOOR is a free tool for making art.
Being a proffesional musician, it's also my first jab at App development.
The fundamental idea behind the App was inspired by the artwork of
Gilad Kahana, an appriciated Israeli artist.
First challange...
was trying to translate Kahana's unique collage style into algorithm.
We achieved this by combining native iOS face detection capabilities with our custom built algorithm
for detecting other face parts, unrecognized by iOS and re-building the new faces.
Second challange...
was wrapping all this into a fun,engaging and friendly workflow on the iPhone.
Currently, the main features are:
- Capture faces using the app's camera.
- Import faces from your device's Albums.
- Cut endless combinations from your source photos.
- Move / Rotate / Resize anything you want with touch gestures.
- Use our custom Filters and Papers to finish your design.
- View / Share / Edit your works in the app's Gallery.
- Coming soon: In-App web search: Search the web for faces. type freely or use our categories.
