Rupture
This was a second year housing project. After a socio-economic analysis of the neighbourhood in which this plot is situated, the project I came up with is that of a residential compound made up of two buildings and a shared park. Access to the floors is done through a central staircase and elevator unit. The two buildings are connected with platforms, creating spaces where neighbours can meet and have a view over the park. The apartments are ventilated via the central courtyard, and are oriented towards the sun for optimal lighting and air circulation.
