NDT Magazine - April 2014


Nederlands Dans Theater (NDT) holds a firm position in the international field of cutting edge contemporary dance. During the past decades the company has built a loyal audience worldwide.

NDT approached Studio Beige to come up with a new concept and design for a magazine that would inspire and inform their audience and benefactors. 
Studio Beige wanted to make a bold yet playful statement in order to set this publication apart from NDT’s other printed matter. We came up with the idea to translate the different layers that constitute a choreography into a multilayered approach of the elements that make up a magazine such as typography, images, size and colour. 
A bit like designing our own choreography you could say. After all we are aiming for a standing ovation as well.
