QOQOA Ecuatoriano | Chocolate Concept

The Concept: QOQOA is a refined dark chocolate brand, inspired by the colorful culture of Ecuador.

To stay true to its roots, everything had to be custom-designed. The branding and packaging were all Incan-inspired, a culture of bright colors, unique patterns and geometric symmetry.

Each of the four “flavors” (dark chocolate percentage), was made with cacao from a specific province. The location was a major influence on the custom pattern designs used in each product.

The logo’s custom lettering was inspired by Incan geometry and its use of a perfect circle. This approach complements the organic nature of the decorative colorful patterns used throughout the brand.
