B|D Landscape Architects are a design based landscape consultancy with outstanding expertise in the field of public realm design and a growing reputation for contemporary landscape architecture, urban design and
space-making.
We were asked to rebrand the company and created a flexible, modular identity system that draws on the theme of connecting spaces and people. Their main logotype was designed to exist in several adaptations which are appropriate for different uses. We also developed a signature grid system that uses the same circle and line elements found in the logo suite, creating a functional pattern that also works as an organisational tool.
B|D work with interesting and responsibly sourced materials throughout their practice and we carried this through to their printed collateral which features several recycled stocks, including Favini Shiro Alga Carta (made from algae which would otherwise clog up Venetian canals). We also designed a full range of corporate stationery including letterpressed and triplexed business cards and notebooks, compliment slips, envelopes, drawing title blocks plus a range of stamps, stickers and an embosser to give a personalised and approachable feel.
