as we wash our laundry, the hangers do nothing but take up space. the more laundry in the wash the more hangers lie around. washangers means collecting these idle hangers and turning them into the laundry basket. the greater the amount of laundry, the larger amount of hangers and the sturdier the laundry basket becomes, so as to accommodate the laundry.
