A small project of pure indulgence when it came to the quality of paper and binding. A top quality product was asked for and the results were both visually and physically stunning.
I learnt so much while designing this 16pp.
The silver blocking was a joy to see be transformed from a design on screen to a quality printed product.
I learnt some great tricks on how typography should be treated and how to use the white space effectively.
Another aspect that I really enjoy about this project was the typeface. A beautifully crafted font that is not for sale. A real rare gem. Janet has some elegant glyphs that are a pleasure to set.
The body text I decided to set in Bembo. A timeless typeface that easily sits at home with top quality prints.
