A Festival of Sorts was an immersions project, immersions is when the junior and seniors of the graphic design department at La Roche College are separated into groups and given 48 hours to conceptualize, execute and present creative solutions to the non-profit client.

This event campaign called A Festival of sorts is for Attack Theater of Pittsburgh and the Pittsburgh Opera. At this “festival” they were going to be sharing a stage and each would be putting on a show. Usually a theater only has one production going on at a time. For this "Festival" they were going to be putting on two separate shows, Attack theater presenting "Histoire Du Soldat" and Pittsburgh Opera presenting "Paul's Case", but they would be presenting them every other night. So Attack theater wanted to have a way of presenting and advertising these two shows together.

As a group we researched the two plays having not heard of either. What we found was that the two story lines had three themes that they shared greed, vanity, and temptation that the lead male characters, struggled with through out the plays. We decided to show a glimpse into the plays events by showing the leading male characters mashed together with what tempted them through out the play as a way to co-advertise.
