An App for Parents, Babysitters, and Children to help monitor foods containing allergens:
This project aimed create an app that solved the problem of childen with allergies being able to eat out safely when left with a babysitter. It is called Safe Eats because it revolves around the idea of recording safe meals for children with allergies in one place. The babysitter can receive profiles of children from parents where information is already in place stating that childs favorite restaurants dishes which are safe and contain no allergens.
You can also look include family information or doctor contacts in case of emergencies. Look for restaurants by your location that are close by and then you can click on each which states how many safe options there are for the profile on which you have chosen. It also states the number of favorites that may have already been chosen from that restaurants menu.
At the menu you can click on each dish and it gives deeper information incase you want to double check for allergens or see what a dish contains that is grayed out (meaning it contains an allergy food for that child).
