Advertising Plates: Positioning
These are images I made for my advertising subject in college. The assignment was about "positioning". Basically, it's how you want the product to stand within a certain target market.
Product category positioning
Products, like bottled water and sodas are very similar, so product category positioning uses a product's more unique characteristics to stand out in the market. For example, Sprite is much more refreshing than Coca Cola because it uses a lemon-lime flavor.
Attribute positioning
Attribute positioning uses a certain characteristic, such as the number of years it has been existing, to promote its product or brand.
Use application positioning
Use application positioning is self-explanatory. It promotes a specific application or use of the product to the audience.
