Logo designed for Nuncio's Secret Archives, a research portal which aims at enhancing this exceptional and stratified private political archive, showing in an open access mode papers, letters and dispatches of Commendone and Graziani, two papal diplomats in the Europe before the Thirty Years War.
Logo designed for Nuncio's Secret Archives, a research portal which aims at enhancing this exceptional and stratified private political archive, showing in an open access mode papers, letters and dispatches of Commendone and Graziani, two papal diplomats in the Europe before the Thirty Years War.
The documents were collected between Italy and the United States. Through an informal gaze they tell an extraordinary and unexpected range of perceptions, knowledge and orientations developed by the Roman mediators in the face of heresy and the European multi-denominational space.
The project is directed by the University of Parma, and the typographic logo is inspired by the cuts made on the paper in order to fix in the wax of the ancient seal.
