RGS is an insurance company with 12.9 million customers. In 2020 it has decided to expand its services and launch startups under the brand My_Service — Auto, Dom, Med.
My_Service Auto takes care of a car or a motorcycle: technical or legal consultations, repair works maintenance, evacuation, seasonal service, assistance with a car sale or purchase. From 2021 to 2022 we were managing the product design, research and brand development.
Interface
Auto and Dom are made within one design-system. There is a catalogue of over 100 services inside each project. Neither of the services may be announced as priority ones since each of them is popular among the users. Search button has become the central object on the page. The colour differentiation has simplified the searching and completes the navigation.
In case of an urgent matter, an auto consultant (an online specialist with a car mechanic experience) is available 24/7. He can help to deal with the problem and order a necessary service. Legal and technical consultants will provide support after accidents and car repair.
After JTBD-research we divided all the services into urgent and non-urgent. For the urgent ones we tried to make business processes more beneficial for the customer. For example, first order a tow truck and then, during the waiting, deal with the service payment.
Graphics
In case something important has broken down or gone out of control, a person seeks a fast solution and tries to find his problem among hundreds of services.
The graphic reading speed must be high to meet that expectation. Graphics detailing aims to be realistic yet with little simplifications to avoid “excessive noise” within small forms where an object is perceived as an icon.
