Defenestrated Studios
The site functions as an archive for my creative output. It is built on the GetSimple CMS. I really enjoyed working with GetSimple, however the development team was not reliably consistent, so I do not think I would utilize it at this time.
At one time, the site also functioned as a lunar clock. The colors shifted discreetly from light to dark, with the lunar cycle. The site also incorporates animated effects derived from a photographic image of moonlight reflected in a puddle. The image was then scanned into SVG format from which the layers could be extracted. The site also receives and re-formats an RSS feed. The archive contains a mixture of mediums. It is a challenge to represent varied formats with a consistent degree of representation.
The site has not been worked on for years, as I have favored another URL to represent my current and more recent output. However, it still seems to work. I haven't defenestrated it yet!
This site is built on the GetSimple CMS and features a responsive design, a lunar calendar, photo galleries, video archive, sound samples, blogs, and parallax effects. It is hosted at: http://defenestrated.org
GetSimple is my fav platform, but then again, I like to code.
