For the first major project of first year we were tasked with creating a survival kit/ object to help a group that we had nothing but post-it notes of information on. It was to be an object or piece that would help them adjust to life as a student at Kingston, after looking through the notes we realised that all of the people we were looking at were quite family orientated, and so were more likely to suffer from home sickness.
In order to combat this we decided to create a 'Home Away From Home' experience, bringing the comfort of an arm chair to the bits you don't miss from Home. The arguments.
