The film CHASNI deals with one of the most horrendous proliferating crime towards women known to be as Acid-Attacks. Post-attack it creates a mark in the form of Disfiguration (VIRUPAN) to the survivor, which has its traumatic effect on one being both physically and psychologically.

The entire story is being conversed in the form of event & saying word poetry by one of the survivors, her post-attack experiences & the journey of facing day to day life with disfigurement.

This story is entirely built on several true life occurrences & experiences of the attack survivors, showing their state of compromise in their daily lives. Film is designed in the form of 2D-Animation as major film project of IDC, IIT Bombay. Directed & animated by Abhishek Verma (Student of Animation & Film design, IDC-IIT Bombay).
