Mohammad Abbas is a science communicator and Research Associate at the Center for Astronomy & Planetary Physics at New York University Abu Dhabi. He earned a Ph.D. in Astronomy from the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy at Heidelberg University, Germany. He has taught numerous graduate and undergraduate astronomy and physics courses at different universities, tracing back the formation history of the Milky Way Galaxy by searching for old halo stars.
