Atlante dei contest grafici

Atlas of graphic contest
The atlas arises as an intermediary between the public and the contest; as much information is not available or clear. Often the artists and designers who want to get involved are not aware of all these realities. Through careful research, the contests were selected for their methods of participation, prizes, curiosities and the data collected were presented, represented with mappings and graphs.
The search and selection phase allowed us to obtain several contests to be included in the atlas. The book opens with a short introduction which explains what will be expected and what the contents will be, and then gives space to the collection of all the contests. The color palette used is based on shades of blue and a light gray to contrast. Various graphic elements were used within the atlas which gave the project a visual identity.
The atlas is not only a editorial book from which to obtain information about graphic contest, but it is also a useful tool for contest themselves, associations or exhibition that aim to enhance the communication through social and enviromental messages. Thanks to the project, we have known different realities and facets of the contests, how they aren’t only some competitions end to themselves, but they are carried forward with activism, exhibitions and festivals.
Thank you!
