A selection of images taken over the course of many early mornings spent chasing unpredictable clouds of water vapour around the hills and valleys of the South Downs National Park.

Fog has such a transformative effect on the landscape, and its one of my favourite things to photograph. Familiar places are rendered unrecognisable and elements of the view are isolated from their surroundings. I find it utterly compelling every time, and it has the huge advantage (and accompanying pressure) that each potential image is completely unique and may last only a few seconds.
