Reflection
My logo was a shield which means strength and security and I also included two swords which mean bravery. In the logo I included four letter c’s they stand for the Serbian saying “samo sloga srbina spasava,” this means only unity saves the Serbs. I made my logo this because I think it represents who I am and where I come from. The strength, security and bravery part are the major part of this logo. The cross on the logo is there because Serbians always include a cross in there flags so you could say it is patriotic. With this logo I also tried to include heroism because with the tools like the pen tool I put the sharp swords and the sharp bottom of the shield. I also included my initials so I could add a little bit of myself to the logo making it personal.
The colors I chose for this logo are deep blue, brick red and grey in some parts. I chose deep blue because it means strong, loyal and traditional which was the exactly what I was trying to say with this logo. I chose brick red because I found out that it stands for sturdy and also strong which is perfect to go with the meanings of the deep blue color. The little bit of grey that I included stands for classic which gave the logo a little more of a relaxed feeling. When I was brainstorming the logo I knew that I will include the color white because it stands for pure and that’s what I wanted the logo to have. The stroke for most of the logo is the deep blue to give it a nice darker outline. I used the gradient for all the colors in the logo and put it in the middle to make it pop. The brand message with the colors and the logo itself all mean strong and tradition.
