For this project we had to create an item based on the trope of the typeface we were assigned. I was assigned Baskerville so I thought of the moods and feelings that the typeface provoked. I thought about the delicateness and lightness in the serifs of Baskerville to create this candle brand “bask in the glow.” Each candle uses a unique color scheme and each scent of candle uses a unique trait of the typeface. For example, the vanilla uses the italic form, the ocean breeze uses roman, and the lilac uses semibold italic.
