DARK HORSE
College brief:
Design a logo, website, cycling jersey and swing ticket that reflects the ethos of Women Cycling.
Logo idea generation.
I looked at evolution and revolution being my key words.
The horses head logo represents the wheel, seat and the frame of the bike, together making the shape of the horses head.
The colours can vary depending on the range, season and foundation they are promoting.
eg.pink-breast cancer. Colours are only on one side showing the progress (revolution)
Swing Ticket
Two version were supplied.
One as a single ticket, shown on left.
Two ticket as shown on right. Picture logo has four shapes cut out so the back ticket showed through, allowing colour to come through. More economical as you would only need to change the back colour deoending on range or season.
The cycling jersey was an adaptation of the logo.
The inside elastic had the Dark Horse logo and the zipper was a silver model of the horses head logo. I wanted to keep it on the lighter side and only used black on the jersey for a more slimming effect.
