The fourth season of the epic fantasy television series Game of Thrones is scheduled to premiere on April 6, 2014, on HBO. As a big fan, I was honored to be invited - with several other artists - basically to recreate the novel's characters in order to compose a set of playing cards - and it looks awesome!

SYRIO FOREL
So I was excited to be responsable for Syrio Forel, a master sword-fighter and instructor hired by Eddard Stark to train Arya Stark. He trained Arya using wooden swords filled with lead and also mentored her on how to move and think like a warrior: to be perceptive, move with grace, and command her fear.

With that in mind I decided to create the concept art based on his quote:
