Bunjil Place

Brief

Bunjil Place unites a unparalleled mix of creativity, entertainment and community in the City of Casey. It has a unique mix of facilities including an outdoor community plaza, theatre, multipurpose studios, function centre, library, gallery and City of Casey Customer Service Centre all in one place.

Despite it’s unique offers, award winning architecture, the organisation was suffering from a lack of awareness and recognition of its breadth and depth of experiences. Landor & Fitch were tasked to strengthen the existing brand identity and show the world there is more to Bunjil Place.
Solution

We are inundated with content and activities – short lived, fleeting moments that are too easy to forget. The gap between entertainment and art can feel vast and inaccessible for many. Bunjil Place allows you to explore things you didn’t know existed, connecting you to experiences that will change your perceptions. Opening up new worlds, so you can experience them - no matter who you are, or where you come from, you belong.

Inspired by the shapes and forms of the beautiful architecture of the building, the three lines that make up the logo go on to form a pathway device that moves with us. Sharing, soaring, directing and guiding. Uniting all of us to get carried away to limitless horizons. The device flies across the brand and connects all the experiences. A flexible, ownable mark that acts as a signal and pathway throughout our brand and communications. Backed by a unique colour palette inspired by local flora and fauna, reflecting vibrancy and diversity, bringing the content of the diverse programs to life.
