MUJOSH is an edgy eye-ware manufacturer, driven by  futuristic aesthetics. The following brand  was born as a fusion between high-fashion aspirations and street attitude.

The work on this identity developed in two stages. Phase one  involved everything from strategy and concept creation to guidelines, art direction and applications. Phase two was more technical and focused on the packaging and production. The final product is a dialogue between AI, design and fashion. A strong presence for MUJOSH which accommodates experimental visuals.



This identity was designed by myself and Wojtek Tyszkiewicz of WJMT Studio. Images featured below were developed by us or MUJOSH campaigns, unless stated otherwise. 
 






木九十

MUJOSH wordmark was a marriage of Western and Eastern spellings representing international aspirations of the brand. Western part was based on the brand typeface while Eastern  木九十  were bespoke characters drawn to match edgy vibrancy of              the brand world.

One of the challenges faced during the process was the need for the mark to not only be scalable but legible when imprinted into various materials. The smallest wordmark prepared measured 2 mm and was designed to fit onto a thin, metal frame. Thus, each symbol in the wordmark has been carefully redrawn and the tiniest imperfections eliminated. Kerning and height has been also uniformed.




  
  
From the beginning we anchored our concept in edgy typography with a presence. Intuitively we felt this would become a secret sauce that ties our logo, colours and  patterns together.

GRTSK typeface by Black foundry was our winner. Not only did it project the right attitude, it also came              in the range of weights and widths which would be useful in typographic patterns. Adding to that, since.             the client was Chinese, we were looking for a typeface of wider proportions, which would comfortably sit        next to Chinese characters.

Packaging concepts was the last part of the project. We were tasked with designing simple but unique concept for glasses case, box, bag & few other accessories. 

We have experimented quite a lot, but in the end settled upon most traditional idea. After all, the packaging was only an appetizer to the main dish. Designs have been turned into blueprints and later into 3D renders. We were extremely excited to see most of those ideas embraced and sold by Mujosh.
