STX Shipbuilding is a Korean shipbuilding company that developed the world’s first skid launching system (SLS) and it adopted a new name, K Shipbuilding. As one of the global big six companies specialized in LNG carriers building, K Shipbuilding holds strength in building 50,000-tone tankers and big LNG carriers.
The new name, “K Shipbuilding” means to lead the global shipbuilding industry with Korean shipbuilding technologies.
The visual Identity establishes the brand identity of “Infinite Potential” and corporate identity is made with concept keywords of Keen, Leap, and Soaring. The design symbolizes the initial K as a global shipbuilding company representing Korea.
“K Sailing Through The Water” expresses the dynamic movement by visualizing the ship top views in cross lines. The curves in the cross lines symbolize K Shipbuilding’s dynamics and infinite potential. Red color used as a main color symbolizes the passionate energy inheriting the heritage of STX Shipbuilding.
