Hipu in the snow is a book about an adventurous hippo and is aimed at toddlers. What's special about it is that it has two different endings that one can choose from-one where the main characters gets rescued and one where he saves himself. You can read the alternative story if you flip the book upside down and start reading from the back cover. This is why all the back covers for these books are actually flipped.
In the book Hipu falls down a slope while playing and has to get back home. I wanted to emphasize his journey and hardship and decided it would gradually be getting darker with each page. Hence the colour schemes change throughout the book from morning to sunset and then night.
